How to convert .mkv file to .avi file?
well its very simple and i know the simplest way to do it ... i have read lots of rubbish on various website but you just need to use winavi converter and codec

you can convert the files with no errors.... and no quality losse

first download the codec pack of .mkv available on various websites--

i did from - www.matroska.org

install it first and ... now download WinAvi converter ....

steps

1) install the codec pack

2) install winavi ....

3) select convert any to .mp4 ..

4) in advance option ... get all values to defaults

you are done ....

now you can convert it to any format you like...from other software's available on the download link i gave ...
