Download HD Wallpapers Directly From Google

There are many website available on the internet that let you download HD wallpapers free.But most of them are heavy or contains lot of ads on them.The category which you want may contain less number of wallpapers in it and you look forward to more websites.

So here comes the Google whose vission is to Store all information in one place.So why goto any other place when you have Google?(Remember you don't have to go any other place).

Go to Google Image search and search for your category for which you wanted wallpapers say i search Landscape.You will get thousands of wallpapers related to your category.

Now choose option Extra Large Images in the upper left corner (Below Moderate search is ON).You will get tons of wallpapers of high resolution like 1600x1200, 1920x1200, 2560x1600.

If you want your search to be more specific you can add site:flickr.com site:deviantart.com after your keyword that is to be searched.For example if i want landscape wallpaper only from site flickr and deviantart then i will search for landscape site:flickr.com site:deviantart.com.The result will contain wallpapers from both the site.

Now here is the method to download images directly from Google Image Search without going to original page:

If you use Firefox, you can install Customize Google extension that, among other feaures, rewrites links to point straight to the images. Or if you have GreaseMonkey installed, you can add the script from here.

For Opera, save the script from UserJS.org to a folder on your computer and make sure you set the option from [Tools/Preferences/ Advanced/Content/ JavaScript options/My JavaScript files] to that folder.

Internet Explorer has a GreaseMonkey clone, called Trixie, that supports most GreaseMonkey scripts, so you can use the script for Firefox.
