Cross Fire can owe much of its success to it being built to run smoothly even on low-end machines.Going By a new gameplay trailer which was released showcasing some in-game action that’s clearly inspired by Counter-Strike just from the look and feel of the animations, models, textures and combat mechanics. The game boasts 36 maps (not likely at the initial launch), 4 gameplay modes, character customization and a military ranking system where players can earn achievements and experience points to unlock additional equipment.
It should be interesting to see how well it fares amongst other free to play military-themed first-person shooters with persistent characters that are out now, such as Combat Arms, Warrock and Soldier Front.
