Excuse my crass excitement, but Sony is hosting a contest to design the Vaio's exterior, and if you win, you get $5,000!In the "My Graphic Splash" contest, Sony wants you to turn graphic designer, and in case that five grand is not enough incentive, you also get a trip to New York City and your design will be featured on sonystyle.com.
They provide a design template that you just upload your idea to (and BTW, they advise that you avoid white and stripes. . . but not images of the band The White Stripes). If you need inspiration, check out the laptop design that won HP's very similar contest!
