While you rarely see a BSOD withWindows XP, the few times they do cropup are usually due to misbehavingdrivers. To see which of these (if any) iscausing your problems, use XP’s unsungDriver Verifier (Start > Run > “verifier” >[Enter]). In the first screen, select CreateStandard Settings and move ahead toselect which drivers to verify. Once
you’ve done that, you’ll need to rebootto let the Verifier do its job. If a driver isindeed your problem, then you’ll get ablue screen during the booting processwhich will tell you which driver it is. Ifyour PC boots fine, then your problemslie elsewhere.
To reset the verifier, do Start > Run >verifier /reset > [Enter].
